Steve Searle
This is Coach Searle’s seventh year at McCallum High School, and his thirty-fifth year as a High School baseball coach. Coach Searle earned his Bachelors degree from The University of Nebraska and his Masters in School Administration from Azusa Pacific University.
Trey Honeycutt
Coach Honeycutt is in his third year as the head coach for the Austin McCallum Knights. Coach Honeycutt has coached for seventeen years and is in his eleventh year as a head baseball coach. He has made stops at Houston Chavez and Lockhart High School as a head coach earning a total of 134 career wins.
Colton Collins
Coach Collins is in his third year at McCallum and his fourth year of coaching baseball and football as well as a Special Education teacher. Coach Collins is a former MAC alumnus who played baseball as well as football from 2005-2009.
Matt Johnson
Matt Johnson is in his 11th year as the Head Athletic Trainer at McCallum. Previous to joining the McCallum staff, I was the Athletic Trainer for the Spirit Teams at the University of Texas. Matt is from Iowa and completed his undergraduate degree in Athletic Training at Simpson College. I moved to Austin in 2008 to work on a Master’s degree at The University of Texas.
